Our Commitment to Green Energy and Sustainable Farming
By integrating a modern Biogas Plant into our goat and sheep rearing operations, M/s Vanam Enterprises has taken a strong step toward sustainability, innovation, and social responsibility. We believe that renewable energy and efficient waste management are essential pillars for the future of livestock farming.
Our eco-friendly approach not only benefits our farm but also contributes positively to the environment and the community. With every goat and sheep raised, and every unit of electricity generated, we move closer to a greener, cleaner, and more prosperous future.
Biogas Plant for Renewable Energy at M/S Vanam Enterprises Project Overview
At M/s Vanam Enterprises, we are proud to introduce a state-of-the-art 500 m³ Biogas Plant designed to sustainably harness energy from animal waste at our integrated farm in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
With a thriving livestock base of 100 Cows, 100 Buffalos, 500 Goats, and 500 Sheep, our farm generates an average of 5–6 tons of organic feed material daily, providing an abundant resource for renewable energy production.
Our Biogas Plant converts this organic waste into:
- Electricity (1 m³ Biogas = 5 kWh)
- Thermal Energy (1 m³ Biogas = 450 g LPG equivalent)
- Organic Manure (natural fertilizer for agriculture)
This initiative positions us at the forefront of sustainable farming, waste management, and green energy generation in Uttarakhand.
Key Features of the Biogas Project
ç芢 Waste to Energy Conversion
We transform organic animal waste into valuable biogas through anaerobic digestion, significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions and environmental pollution.
●χ Renewable Energy Generation
Our 500 m³ Biogas Plant powers farm operations and thermal applications, minimizing dependence on conventional fuels like LPG, diesel, and coal.
`^ Biogas Filtration and Upgrading
Using advanced water scrubbing technology, impurities like CO₂ and H₂S are removed, producing clean, high-quality biogas suitable for electricity generation and thermal use.
Production of Organic Fertilizer
The biogas slurry is processed into nutrient-rich organic manure, enhancing soil fertility and supporting sustainable agriculture without chemical inputs.
Distributed Power Generation (DPG)
Our DPG system ensures on-site electricity production, reduces transmission losses, and strengthens energy security for farm operations.
Advantages of Our Biogas Initiative
- Eco-Friendly: Reduces carbon footprint and supports global climate
- Round-the-Clock Energy: Biogas is available 24/7, independent of sunlight or weather
- Cost-Effective: Significant savings by replacing costly fossil
- Improved Waste Management: Converts animal waste into useful resources instead of landfill disposal.
- Energy Independence: Enables self-reliant, sustainable operations at our
- Community Impact: Encourages rural participation in decentralized green energy
